My igs drink water from a small bowl I hung in their cage's walls like in a birds cage.If the bowl is narrow and placed a little bit high it will be difficult to him to use it as a bathroom.

Igs like to poop in the water.I suppose they think the water is relaxing. Before allowing my igs to come inside my house, I always put them in the bathtub where they do all their poops! Then I change the water, I give them a bath and only after that I allow them to walk around the house.

Your cage looks great!(Thats true.Igs love to lay down in a hot sand!)Im sure your ig will be very happy in it!!

and : I had just built my 3 ft. Iguana a new cage, it is 6 ft tall, 8 ft long, and 32 inches wide. I built a box and put sand in it, he wont leave the sand box, he loves it, he just lays there and hangus out. Anways, my question is, I put a rather large contaioner in there with water for him, and all he does with it is goes to the bathroom in it! How can I give him water to drink if he poops in his water?

: Thanks,
: Jim

: P.S.- why do you think he poops in his water?
