the others on the light business. Reptisun's 5.0 has always worked well for us. We also use the powersun bulb but I would suggest probably waiting on that one until you get your larger cage done since they provide heat and UVB.
I use blk/wht newspaper or paper towells for substrate. I've also used a regular dish towell (green or some darker color) when they are very small. Easy to remove and wash and also comfy for them to sleep on.
He may like a hide box as well. Do you have one? One last comment...I could be wrong on this one, but I wouldn't feed peas too often. They have a tough shell that seems harder to digest and it may be tough on his little bowells. Same with grapes...should be peeled and any other fruit such as nectarines, plums etc. should be peeled.
