He's probably just stressed due to the new enviroment. Put him in a warm shoulder height bath and let him soak for a little while, he'll likely poop pretty quickly. You should also begin handling him immediately, so he gets used to you and isn't afraid of you. Give the little guy time, he'll come around. You have to be firm when you speak to him/her, but nice at the same time so as not to scare him/her too much.
Do you have a Zoo Med UVB tube, or an equivelant? How about a heat lamp that provides a 95F basking spot, and also a way for him to retreat from the heat? Also, are you feeding him the proper diet? If you're not sure what that is, have a look around this site and some other iguana related sites, or even just look through the posts here on the forum. There's a ton of good information to be had, so there is no reason not to care for your iguana properly, not that you aren't caring for yours properly. I'm just helping you out.
Good Luck,
John-Paul: I got my iguana on Wednesday the 29th and he has not pooped. Is this normal for a baby ig? I dont remember. How long should I wait before I start handling him? He tries to whip and bite me even if I try to pet and I go real slow and everything. The girl that had him before never handled him so he isnt used to people. What is the best way to get him used to me without giving him a heart attack or stressing him out to bad? Floppy was feisty when he was that small but I could still handle him and carry him around on my shoulder and stuff. This one is just wild!!!
: Any help is greatly appreciated :-)
: Thanks
