A couple of questions

I got my iguana on Wednesday the 29th and he has not pooped. Is this normal for a baby ig? I dont remember. How long should I wait before I start handling him? He tries to whip and bite me even if I try to pet and I go real slow and everything. The girl that had him before never handled him so he isnt used to people. What is the best way to get him used to me without giving him a heart attack or stressing him out to bad? Floppy was feisty when he was that small but I could still handle him and carry him around on my shoulder and stuff. This one is just wild!!!
