A friend's local music store just went out of business, and I went by to help close the doors today. They had a rather expensive lighting system and I noticed a pile of unused halogen lamps of various wattages sitting in one of the storage closets. So now I have a ton of these lamps and I'm wondering if they are suitable for lizards (i.e. are they just like the heat lamps you buy from ZooMed only, in my case, free?). I am assuming these emit little or no UVB. Is this a correct assumption? Thanks a bunch,
-L
