I was reading in a book about how herbivorous dinosaurs could have eaten enough plants to stay alive with their little teeth. Heck, one's even called Iguanodon because of the similarity it's teeth had to those of iguanas. Apparently they just used their teeth to tear off and swallow large chunks of leaves as quickly as possible and let their large stomachs and intestines do all the work. So maybe that's what iguana's sharp little teeth are designed for. Either that, or I shouldn't be randomly theorizing this early.
