Emma...one particular type I use which is "hardy" withstands years of cleaning and bonds permanently to most surfaces..is the two part epoxy resin offered by Sherman Williams. It comes in a variety of colors as well. As posted give two days for ventilating prior to Ig moving in. Also as stated earlier the vinyl hardware cloth is the best way to go. Jen Swoffords page said that it is much more expensive than reg. gal. hardware cloth...but I think the cost is relative.
Make sure you get "at least" 1/2 " if Ig is a juvenile. If bigger may want to go with 1" . DO
NOT go with anything smaller than 1/2"ccm. , as Igs claws become caught and can rip them out. vinyl coated wire for 2x5foot roll costs about $5.00 and 4x25 ft roll costs about $30.00. Sure saves on injury to you Ig. Have fun this weekend!
