Depends who you ask . Some people will tell you iguanas are simple stupid animals . I however am not one of these people iguanas do in fact have personalty from all that I have seen I say this with certainty . Just for example Speedy would go in the back yard to play he would scratch at the door when he wanted in . This is intelligence . He would poop on his plate when feed a food he did not care for . Many debates have been had on the closing of the eyes when petting an iguana .Some say they are ignoring you Some say they do it because they like it . Who is right ? Everybody I know that has had an iguana for more then a few years will tell you they are smart and are able to learn . Then again people say you see what you WANT to see not what is really there .
