OK, here goes:
But, I only paid $15 for it.
I dont want to have to spend $50 or more on a vet visit when I didnt even pay half that for the animal.
Its just an iguana anyway.
If it dies, I will just get another one.
They dont live that long anyway. I've already had three.
None of my other reptiles need a vet, and they usually live at least a year or so.
I am an "experienced herpetoculturalist".
I am working on a degree in Herpetology.
OK, back to ME: Yeah, heard it before. Take your stinking iguana to the vet, or give it to someone who actually gives a rat's a** about an animal's LIFE.

: No offense, but do you really need to be told to take the animal to a vet. Are you waiting for it to die, only then to wish you'd taken it to the vet. GO NOW!!!: I have a juvinile iguana i purchased about a year ago. I have taken very good care of him. I have many other herps in perfect health and up to a month ago he was too. Then he started getting worse. He is now close to death and can barely open his eyes. What Can i do???????????????????
