My iguana girl is a rescue. I knew she had been previously horribly abused and neglected. I gave her time to realize that I wasnt gong to hurt her but I also let her know im in charge (well she lets me THINK I am lol). I do take the attitude with her that when I Say its time to get down ro when I say its time to get out of the bath what I say goes (of course just like my human kids I bend at times to lol). I also dont allow her to get down or back in her cage after a tantrum, I make sure she is calmed before being allowed to do what it is SHE wants to do.

: I've been reading some info on Igs. From what I understand there are two ways to tame. One is gently taking your time and the other Way is the "Who's the Boss" method. Personally I think the Taking you time Method would be nicer to the animal but I'm not expreienced with Igs. Which do you prefer? Which has better results? Just curious....
