In Reply to: JJ went to vet, Belly blister update & question... posted by Michelle B on May 21, 2002 at 07:44:20:
I ran into something similar with my girl Cirsis several yrs ago, raised bumps. When we took her to the vets, they did a biopsy and got bright clear green fluid out of it.Never did find out what the cause was. They sent it all over the country to see with no results. The bumps were on her sides and toward the top of her body.Small bumps. They didn't seem to bother her,so we tried several treatments and they didn't change.
If JJ is starting to egg,you might want to sprinkle cal supp once a week on her salad and get her as much sunshine as you can along with excersize. She will need more cal after her egging also.
You will be able to feel or see eggs as she develops them,or at least we did.
We always kept records on their pooping, eating, weight, medical treatments and when they stopped eating. When season hits, they do strange things and if you have a record,it will help ease your mind and you will be able to tell your vet.
