Hi all!
I just had a small concern about my ig. She's about a year old now and she bit me for the first time about three weeks ago (on the NOSE -- it HURT!! :-( ) Ever since then I've been kind of leery when holding her because every time she moves her head to lick the air or whatever she's sitting on I think she's going to bite me again. When she bit me the last time I was peeling the skin from her toes (I know, I know, I probably shouldn't have been doing that) but I'm always worried about the scales growing over her claws. I used to kind of rub noses with her when she was a baby and she'd lick my nose, but now when I do that she opens her mouth like she's going to bite.
I guess my question is if igs have any particular "pre-bite" behaviors or if there are things I do that make her more or less likely to bite. I don't want to be scared of her because I've enjoyed having her so far; I just want to minimize the possibility of her biting again. Thanks!
