If it is a fluorescent light, it may be okay. But
the fact that you said it is "Daylight Heat Lamp"
in your description leads me to believe it is not
a fluorescent light, as they produce little heat,
just light.

If they are the screw in type light bulbs that go
into a regular light fixture they are NO good. The
wording "full spectrum" is a gross exaggeration of
the scale they cover. The only thing they do is
heat the cage, which is great... but why pay that
much... use a regular standard light bulb and get
the same effect at a fraction of the cost, plus
regular light bulbs last a LOT longer.

You need a flourescent light to create the needed
UVB... incandescent bulbs don't do it. And only
certain flourescent lights give off the correct UVB
rays. Iguana 5.0 is good, that's what I use. You
can order it online at petwarehouse.com. They cost
about $25 and even though they don't burn out in six
months, you must still replace them every six months
because they decrease the amount of UVB they give
off with time.

The link will take you to an article comparing the
different fluorescent lights and how much UVB they
give off.

good luck!

Julie D.
