You know marine iguanas, evolved from arboreal iguanas. The theory is that like a big chunk of land floated from south american (big chunks of land really do break off of southamerica and float some even have trees on them) then the iguana iguanas were on teh galapagos with nothin to eat, so they evolved, and have become what they are today.
