I know I've been away for awhile and don't mean to come back first thing and disagree with someone but .......
: Once a week, u may offer some fruits as well. Bananas are usually relished.
There are so many BETTER choices than bananas....both from a nutritional and a dietary standpoint. Melons are fantastic for adding additional hydration to the diet.
: Minced carrots are good for the carotene they contain.
Carrots are good but they are high in natural sugar. Carrots should make up a small part of a well balanced variety of veggies.
: For dessert, they like those canned baby fruit 'things'. They have nutrients, and taste good for them. But offer them once in a while, o they'll get hooked!
Baby food??? Surely you jest?!?!?! They are NOT "good for iguanas" in the same sense that they are "good" for human babies, as they were not made for iguanas. While once in a great while there is no actual harm that can be done by feeding this type of "food", and they are sometimes used to tube feed a sickly reptile, fresh is always better and should be the rule not the exception.
