The thing is that I bought these and the female was already pregnant. You suggest me feeding the eggs to my monitors??
Well, my answer is plase do!
About you selling to a petshop, I agree that this is a better way for the shop to get their reptiles, but do you have any idea how they are planning to sell them? In the way of what size cages, lighting etc. My iguana was sold to me from a petshop (before I realised how the were imported) I was told he could live in the same cage as my water dragon (insect eater) they said it wasnt a problem form mine to eat insects and that I should feedhim lettuce and fruit. I was never told about UV lighting. My waterdragon was sold in a cage 80x40x40 with a tiny waterbowl, where as they need a cage of about 200x150x60 at the smallest with a very large waterbowl. I saw in one petshop in Eindhoven 3 adult iguanas in a cage size 120x40x50. the only reason I didnt go comletely mad is that there was a sold sticker on the cage so my only hope was that they were going to bad homes.
I'm not saying I'm perfect because it was also my fault I didnt do enough research on the animals first (I assumed that a petshop would know everything) I also still 'support' the petshop by buying food items etc there, but this is only for the reason I cant get access to others very easily.
Please reconsider what to do with the eggs. Just remember that a person really desperate to get an iguana will be able and prepared to find one the kind way. If they are only prepared to take one the easy way then they cant want one that badly.
