6 month old meanie..

It's been awhile since I visited here.. Anyway, I just got a 6 month old iguana a week ago and he/she is quite the little whipper.. Everytime I go to feed him he wants to whip me.. is this normal or am I going to have to wear long sleaved shirts from now on? I've never had such a you one before, I did have a 6-year old that was really good and friendly but I had to give him up to Linda a few years ago.. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
