If you want to solve the mystery of gravid or not, a x-ray should show eggs if they are there. You may not want that expense, however. I think Dino's advice was sound on questioning your vet as to whether those levels in her were high for a gravid ig. They are naturally going to jump during this time & I don't know why she would need to have them lowered unless they were TOO high for a gravid ig. (I believe I just rambled...sorry)

Humans pick up pin worms from the dirt. Get dirt under nails and put hand to mouth...bingo. Kids are especially bad about getting them because they sit in dirt for long periods of time (some do) and the worms can enter a different way which i won't discuss LOL Bearded dragons are prone to getting pin worms and I think the usual culprit there is the live food (crickets).

Which leads me in a round about way to say I'm not sure how an iguana would get them. I could take a logical leap and say that perhaps the dirt that the fresh veggies were grown in had them and perhaps rinsing the veggies before feeding didn't rid them of the worms.

I would caution you to practice even more extreme good hygiene right now because humans can get infected by pinworms.

Hope this all works out for you. And if you have the least amount of doubt about what your vet is telling you, remember you have the right to a second opinion.
