I know of a few iguana owners here that have built their iguana cages out of PVC pipes and plastic coated wire mesh. The PVC cage is a good idea and seems to be a good climbing source for your iggie. My concerns are... if you want to keep your iguana in the home, wouldn't a large amount of heat from the heating sources escape from the PVC cage and filter throughout the house? What is a method of keeping this under control? Is there something that can be added/subtracted to help this situation? Also, I have an iguana that loves to rub her nose against the cage... which over time can cause her nose to become raw and sore with a PVC cage (even with plastic coated wire mesh) – this is something she does ALL the time unless she is out and about the house. What are some ways to prevent this from occurring?
I am still in the process of deciding what kind of cage I want to build my iguanas and if I want to house them in the same cage or not.
I learned from reading shanna’s “new enclosure” replies that it is not a good idea to purchase a reptarium on the account that they don’t last long. I found some good ideas from the following sources:

PLEASE… let me know any ideas, suggestions, concerns, cage building plans (that work) - anything that could possibly help me in making a suitable enclosure that will allow my iguanas to grow in comfort and security.
Thank you all :o)
