Most of the time, when you see a bump forming on an iguana's face, it is an abcess starting to form. It can be treated, and if it is treated, will not be fatal. But you are going to have to fork over the cash for a vet visit. If you choose to leave it, it will only get worse.

: ok i have a 3 ft iguana in a 55 gallon tank.. its getting too small for him so i am getting him a custom made enclosure which is much bigger from my dads friend. But, ive noticed a bump on his face a few weeks ago. I thought nothing of it, now its gotten worse. can some1 please tell me what i can do or what this is or if hes dying that way i know not to buy the tank.
