Thanks for the information and I will check on what you suggested. The enclosure was built for me by friends and was made of wood but not treated, at least does not clean up like it was. I was going to use Thompsons water seal but that can kill carpenter bees so thought I would check on this forum for all of you are so helpful and have been at this longer then I have. My iguanas are rescues, the oldest is 5years old and I have had them for 4and one half. So far so good. I did find out not to give citrus. You know how some spritz their vegies to keep them fresh with lemon juice well I did that one spritz not much. Poor Dexter was covered with water blisters and took a long time to heal. Emmelith it did not affect but as a rule I wont give citrus. I keep misting them every day but I was thinking of sitting up a fogger in their enclosures? Dex I use a reptile mist for the scarring, it sheds but not well. Again thanks for the info
