Phil's cage is lined with hanging silk plants, and he loves them. He has them bunched together so he can hide behind them, and sometimes he will sleep hanging from the wall of his cage. I think it makes him feel safe.
Reptariums are a nice idea, but they are very temporary and it might be a better idea to build him a cage of your own. Phil's is made of PVC pipe and plastic-coated wire. It's kind of an eyesore in the living room, so we made it some curtains and when it's closed for the night it actually looks quite nice. I think the cage itself cost me about $80, not counting supplies like lights, etc. It's over twice the size of a reptarium that would cost as much, if not more, and will last him until he is old enough to free roam.
LLL Reptile has a very good reputation among the chameleon community (they breed panthers and a few other breeds) and I have heard nothing but good things about their business ethics. If you do go with a reptarium, they are probably a good choice. Good luck,
-Lily
