As some of you may know (as you've taken very good care of me here), I have 12 inch (approximately) iguana cramped in a tiny 30 gallon (it looks tiny with him in it) and so I've really been working on getting him something more accomodating. I was looking on LLLReptile and came across the reptarium which looks GREAT to me. Its inexpensive (compared to glass) and would give him lots of fresh air! I need some climbing material in there too (because the tank he was given to me in has a flat piece of wood that he gets on top of so I was killing 2 birds with one stone and going to get 2 pieces of the sandblasted grape wood. 1 40-60" and 1 24-40". I was going to go ahead and get the 175 gallon reptarium. This would leave just enough room for a food and water dish at the bottom (hopefully). I'd like to spice things up a bit (so it isn't just wood) and get a fake plant for in a back corner, behind the wood. Do you think this would be a good idea or would he just try to eat it?
What do you guys think? Does this sound good for our guy? Might help him settle down.
Thanks,
Shanna
