Um..first off...confused the iguana den site said that HIGH levels of oxalic acid found in ALL dark leafy greens ..NOT TRUE..mainly in spinach, rhubarb, beets, strawberries (which my Juana just loves! and RARELY gets!) and other iguana non-edibles. The diets we feed our Iggies are fine. Excess oxalic acid, combined with excess Vitamin C , is excreted thru urine leads to kidney stones(calcium stones) precurses to renal failure. IMHO I don't think its much to worry about, we don't feed our iguanas EXCESS amts of these items, do we? Am I making ANY sense? Feo chewed up my thinking cap!
