I would say defenitly not a good idea~ I have used it to get rid of mites on my reptiles but you would not put it on anything they could eat. Its poisenous and really does linger on whatever you spray it on. Thats why its so effective at killing mites. There is however this other stuff you can safely use to wipe out the bugs!~ I wish I could rememeber what its called!ARGGG!~ My mom uses it as its organic~ Its a white powder that you sprinkle on the vegtables. You have to make sure you wash them first of course. I will ask my mom today what its called~ I believe she gets it at the feedstore? Its totally organic~ I know that the permytherin(i think thats the right spelling) is only made of chrisanthiums~ But its still pretty toxic and I wouldn't want to eat anything after spraying with it. Although for mites its a lifesaver. I will try to find out today for you~ Tiffany
