Vita-Lite worth the money?

I've heard a lot about vita-lite and that it's really good for iguanas that are kept indoors. I checked out some prices and they're around $30 per bulb! Are they really worth it? Anyway that has used these vita-lite bulbs that can report their experiences, please post. Also any information you have on which is the best lighting/heating for your iguanas and which to stay away from. Thanks
