Goliath chasing his tail new problem

Right after I posted I found bite marks on the last few inches. Not major bites but 5-6 minor bites. So a couple of days ago, before i went to bed i rubbed some vinegar where he usually bites. the first time I heard him chasing his tail I got up to look and he was shaking his head and it looked like he was trying to get the tasted out of his mouth. That was the only time i heard him all night.So I'm going to start doing that every day I guess.
