Jason wanted a log cabin but we couldnt afford one so whats he doing? Him nad a buddy are going to "build" (lord help them lmbo hehe) a one roomed log cabin out on this buddy's wooded property for us to all go camping in. ( I love to to campe as well but whats the big thing about the log cabins??).

: I hate to say it, Shawn, but it sounds like you need to put the brakes on hard and do a bit more research BEFORE you get this iguana. There's a LOT more to it than just feeding it "grass" which will do little to nothing for nutrition if the ig decides to actually eat it at all.

: Check out as many sites as you can BEFORE you get this iguana. Proper enclosure, care, diet, heating, lighting, and humidity can easily run upwards of $1500 per year just for one iguana - and that's not including any possible vet visits that you may need.

: Do me a favor and get your hands on a copy of James Hatfield's "Green Iguana: The Ultimate Owners' Manual" and at least skim through it before you decide to get an ig. After you've done that, come on back, let us know where you're located, and we'll try to hook you up with a rescue near you so you can adopt an ig instead of purchasing one. There are already enough iguanas out there that need good homes, why not try and help one?

: On the other hand, I'm totally jealous that you live in a log cabin.... I love them myself....
