Though I could not find the source of the info to site,I have read(somewhere??)that indeed high levels are common in gravid Iguanas...it just makes sense.The same thing happens to human women who are pregnant,their blood work would of course not match that of a non pregnant woman,why should it?The question then becomes,did the Vet think the levels were unusually high for a gravid Iguana?The latter of the two Vets sounds like he/she's right on the money,worry if and when those levels fail to decrease following oviposition.
