In Reply to: Signs of calcium deficieny in juvies? I want to be sure posted by Lily on March 27, 2002 at 12:18:41:
Phil is a very pampered, well-cared for juvie and he has all the lights, supplements, good diet that ought to keep him healthy. Over the last week, however, I've noticed that Phil's upper jaw seems to have outgrown the lower one a bit and some of his teeth are visible when his mouth is closed. Is this a reason for concern, or just a growth phase? He is an otherwise perfectly normal, active, HUNGRY, and social ig.
--Blood work is probably the best answer, but is there anything anyone can tell me in the meantime? Thanks,
-Lily
