Iguana eggs went bad, any suggestions

: Hello, : I am posting this for some friends that own a pet store. : Their pair of adult igs produced a clutch last November. : The eggs started to cave in and last week and he opened : one that looked bad. Inside the egg was a fully formed : dead iguana with a hard yolk (Rock Hard). The rest of : the clutch was left alone for another week as the rest of : the eggs still looked good. : Yesterday the rest of the eggs were opened, all were dead : with hard yolks. : They were incubated at the proper temps and humidity. : The owener has a veterinary background, so I trust his : ability. : Any suggestions would be appreciated, they were very : dissapointed at the loss. I know the world doesn't need : more iguanas, but it would have been nice to see some : hatch first hand. : Thanks, : Bill
