Hello,
I am posting this for some friends that own a pet store.
Their pair of adult igs produced a clutch last November.
The eggs started to cave in and last week and he opened
one that looked bad. Inside the egg was a fully formed
dead iguana with a hard yolk (Rock Hard). The rest of
the clutch was left alone for another week as the rest of
the eggs still looked good.
Yesterday the rest of the eggs were opened, all were dead
with hard yolks.
They were incubated at the proper temps and humidity.
The owener has a veterinary background, so I trust his
ability.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, they were very
dissapointed at the loss. I know the world doesn't need
more iguanas, but it would have been nice to see some
hatch first hand.
Thanks,
Bill
