Since the UV output of these bulbs is significantly less than that of the sun I wouldn't worry too much about things like cancer at this point. More immediate concern would be burns especially on spikes, etc. so keep an eye on that. I would think, though, that Baby's natural thermoregulation would take over before any damage took place but it's always better to be safe.....
