My lil water dragon is battling with mouthrot right now. My highly recomended vet (the best vet in the city for reptiles) told me that his teeth looked normal and fine even though they are grey and cheesy yellow. Hes also got some bleeding on his front teeth. "Oh he must have bumped his nose." Im not going back there...
Mouthrot is actually a common problem in Water Dragons. I am currently 'self-treating' Loki myself until I can find another vet who might know what to do.
I am giving him a mix of echanesia (immune booster), burdock root (herbal antibacterial/antifungal), vitamins, calcium, and baby food. I also read that cleaning his mouth with a q-tip dipped in a weak betadine solution helps, so Ive been doing that once a day as well. He is slowly recovering ( I think... ) as the pus-filled bumps in his mouth have dissapeared and the redness and swelling is gone. Unfortunetly his teeth are still pretty gross looking. I know he needs antibiotics, but Im still desperatly searching for a vet that can diagnose reptile illnesses in my area.
I would do the betadine thing for iZ, it seems to help a lot, although they hate it when you poke around in their mouths.
Also keep his enclosure warm at night.
Hope he recovers ok. If you catch it early on, he has a good chance of recovering.
