When my iguana Roxy was about to lay (she never did normally lay) she was wheezing a bit and sneezing....I thought she had a respitory infection so right away went to the vet (didnt know she had eggs! we had just adopted her four days before) the vet took a full x-ray, blood, and fecal, and roxy passed an egg on her office floor. The x-rays showed eggs, and her blood was fine otherwise so it was her being gravid. It left after her egg ordeal was over.

Maybe the puffy tummy gives them breathing problems I dunno, maybe it Roxy is the only one who gets like that, who knows for Double D. The vet can only answer if its a cold, eggs, or something else, but good luck. Eggs are a difficult time. But so is any other medical visit for an iguana. So again keep us posted and good luck
