Well, it's good to know that my (ahem, er, Alesia's...)
ig is not the most efficient poop factory in the world,
as I was beginning to suspect, finding ANOTHER poop today.
Well, I made a similar version of MK's salad today, and
got chickory, endive, red swiss chard, and watercress
and made a nice greens salad to mix it with for ig, and
to server plain to the torts and turts. I was dissapointed
with the mere 4 greens I found. Ya'll get your collards
at any particular chain? I'll try another when I'm out...
Weis was not real pleased with my 30-40 cents of about 12
different produce selections.... *giggle*
what is arugala? I found it, looks like nice greens,
not sure though, if it's good, that would make 5 available
at weis.... which is so darn close.... hate to start
crossing town for greens....
of course, I'll be starting some planting boxes soon,
and the lawn will be sprouting in a month or so, mainly
for the torts, but could help the ig's variety too.

Anyway, little pooper is doing great. She's certainly
plump in any case, she seems to be showing some stripes
that I noticed when we got her, but they seem to be getting
darker brown and black as her green gets more vibrant...
I've never seen a baby ig with visible stripes before,
perhaps we can expect a darkly striped adult? It's funny
how differnt they look when grown. She's also got
three nicely sprouting nose horns, my favorite feature
of the ig... I hope they grow well, I find the bigger the
nose horn the cuter the ig... *hmmm, did I just say that?*

Anyway, cheers, me and the zebra rhino cross with ig
are gonna hit the sack.
