You are misunderstanding but that is ok because it can be confusing. You do not need to add anything if you are freezing your own food. The directions you are looking at are for frozen veggies that you purchase at the grocery.
Some people claim that you need to add Brewer's yeast due to the fact that the pre-frozen foods you can buy at the grocery store have their vitamin B depleted. The truth is, most vegetable matter is an insignificant source of vitamin B to begin with.
If you are concerned that your iguana isn't getting what it needs from its food, you can always add a vitamin/mineral supplement. When we use a supplement, which isn't very often at all, usually for sick or gravid igs, we use a reptile supplement with no D3. To administer, we put it in a salt shaker and only add enough so that it is barely visable to the surface of the food. As a rule of thumb I always advise taking the ig to the vet for a checkup and blood test before supplementing with anything though.
