After preparing my iguana's food, I understand that I am to add brewer's yeast if I am going to freeze some of it. Multiple sites have made it sound like I add it before I freeze the food, but does this not kill the vitimans just as it does in the vegetables? Or am I misunderstanding these directions and should add it after I thaw the food? Also, how much is enough? I have been using one crushed tablet (500 mg) per approx. 3 cups.
