Im a taxidermist, and I collect skulls, and cow skulls can be verry sharp on thier edges. I would worry about the ball pythons fragile skin. I had one in a tank with a branch that had spindly little twiggs and such on it, and he managed to lodge some under his skin, and That did cause an infection and eventually kill him. Even the vet couldnt do anything about the infection. (still kicking myself)
As for the iguana..Well, skulls can loose little peices of bone, and teeth can fall out, and an iguana could eat this.
The skull will also most likely eventually become soiled, and will probably have to be thrown out, as cleaning it will make it fall apart.
This said, I use part of a box turtle shell, (edges sanded down, aired out verry well), as a hide for a 3 foot texas ratsnake. I still wouldnt reccomend something of this sort for either an iguana or a python
Clean them, and enjoy them on the mantle or something (he hee)
