If it is a male, it probably is a seminal plug. I'm not experienced with females & the whole egging thing so without seeing it--it's hard to guess. Seminal plugs can be orange, beige, redish or sometimes a little bit of each. Sometimes they are dried up like a thin twisted dried apricot or other times more tubular and moist. Just in case you don't know what a seminal plug is....it's the build up of seminal fluid in the male that is excreted in solid form when they don't mate with females or inanimate objects (when they do mate, it appears like most other mammal semen)
