Takhisis, the Dragonqueen (or King)

Well the moment has finally arrived! I got my new iguana today. If you haven't
guessed I named her Takhisis. Of course I'm not sure if it's a girl or boy, but I
figured it was a fairly gender neutral name, so I wouldn't have to worry about changing
it.
So now we begin the journey of getting to know each other. I already her out with me
a bit, talking to her. She was fairly calm. I'm so nervous about her getting loose, I know
they can be tricky to catch. I'm also so worried I'm going to crush her tiny body!
She doesn't seem to high strung, nor is she way laid back, so this should be fun.
Oh, okay, a question: She'll be staying at my "real" house while I'm at school. My fiance
is going to be sure to hold her everyday when I'm not there through the week so she gets used to
it, but will she not like me since I'll only be spending time with her on the weekends, atleast
until I graduate?
And Nate wanted me to mention that he got his two Leopard tortoises today too, and he's just
as excited as I am about Takhisis.
And we also picked up a tube of Panacur. We're definately going to take Takhisis to the vet for
the initial check-up and prescription, but for future worming will this work?
Alright one other question: Will it take her a while to get used to her new home before she starts
eating? How long is too long, just so I know when to start worrying. :)
I'll post pictures once we get them developed.
Later,
Lesha and Takhisis
