Well, her iguana sat and watched a movie with me
last night after she left. This morning after
it's lights had been on for about 20 mins I gave
it a plate of food and set it down by the plate and
left the room to make my breakfast. It ate right
away! Lots of greens and some veggies and a very
few small pieces of some melon.....
We did the chop and bag routine and made a weeks
worth of food to freeze in serving size bags that
i can thaw and give. Each is slightly different but
overall it's well balanced. Now each morning I
put in a plate of food from one bag, and move another
from freezer to fridge so it's ready for next morning,
or later in evening if it eats it all. I'm doing
the same with my new torts, it also helps me keep
track of how much vitamins each gets and when.
You can do most of the work for a whole week of feedings
in less than an hour and provide a better balanced
diet for your ig.
*grin*
Just thought I'd give you the update.
Oh, and I was bored last night so I carpeted some
2"x2"s with an old towel and made the ig some climbing
things to add to it's cage. It seems to like them.
It also likes to burrow into it's fake leafy bushes
to sleep, very cute.
Later,
Nate
