Hi Kim,
I am the one who makes the Iguana pillows and thought I'd answer your questions here.
You asked, "...do they need specific materials or stuffing because it is for an iguana? Not sure if they are affected by anything that may be in the pillows."
No, there's nothing magical about the materials I use, but I do use expensive, good quality materials. I use a heavy weight, soft polar fleece for the pillow, and stuff it with a polyester quilt batting so it will wash up well and not shrink or bind in the laundry. They're as safe as anything for an iguana, and much more comfy to lay on than a branch or hard cage floor!
As far as sizes go, yes, you can measure your iguana and go from that measurement, or you can estimate how big of a space you have in your cage where a pillow will fit. I will probably list small, medium, and large with the accompanying sizes in inches on my website, so that may make it easier to decide.
I recommend buying a bit larger one than you think you may need so you won't have to buy another one later on when your ig has grown. It makes money-sense to do it that way.
I'll have a website up soon with the sizes available, pricing, and more, so check back. Should be up this week sometime. Until then, thanks for the questions and I hope to hear from you again.
Diana
