Hello Anna,

Since he is injured, I would keep them separate, including feeding time. For now, you can use triple antibiotic ointment on wounds where it cannot be ingested, and give him a betadine bath or two - fill the tub with warm/lukewarm water and add some betadine so its a weak tea-color. Make sure that no food or foreign objects get stuck in/to the wound(s). Give him something soft to lay on, and keep him warm.
