One of the reasons juveniles and hatchlings seem/are aggressive is because they are afraid. You are 100 times larger than them, and instinct tells them that you are out to get them, kill them, and eat them.
Thats why you have to have patience, and work with them. Be persistent and gentle, and earn their trust
