With mine, I have a misting system set-up. It's a large sprayer coupled into tubing that goes above their highest basking shelf, ending into 2 mist nossles. (did that make sense?)

Anyways, from there vantage point, just when I reach down to the area where the sprayer resevoir is stored, they instantly "assume the position" whether the water starts or not.

Do not ever doubt the intellegence of an iguana!
