Pavlov's iguanas?

You all know about Pavlov's dogs and the experiment he did with them right? Eventually whenever they heard a bell they would start salivating cuz they associated a bell ringing with dinnertime. Well whenever I mist my ig, he raises his head and closes his eyes. I use the same pump everyday and it sort of makes a noise when I pull the trigger. Well today as I was using that pump to mist his food, which was nowhere near him, I saw him raise his head and close his eyes. It reminded me of Pavlov's dogs and that whole experiment. So do you think he knows what that pump is by hearing it and seeing it or was this just a funny coincidence?
