took in 2 more rescues myself. Also accepted 4 more adoption applications but I'm not impressed with any of them. Total count of Green Igs now is 16, down a bit but it still seems like just as much work. One of Sunday's rescues is missing about 3/4 of her tail with about 1.5 inches of regrowth growing in an upward direction, and a nice little nose rub. Other than that she seems in pretty good health...surrendered with no cage but heat and lighting including a new ZooMed 5.0. The other one was a lovely female that I adopted out almost a year ago. The couple that adopted her were threatened by the authorities because of a local ordinance banning the ownership of iguanas in their township. They were heartbroken Sunday when they brought her to the show. Altho they were fantastic iguana parents I'm happy to have her back...she's a sweetheart.
There is another monthly show starting up here in April...another weekend day out of the month where I know I'll be away from home doing some lecturing and hopefully getting thru to some folks.
Mr. D, I made a request in my last private email to Jenna. I haven't heard back and I'd like to make good on the offer. Write me back.
