I found the cheapo-timers got overloaded pretty easily with 150 watt bulbs and heaters. The ones for A/C work great, but they are 3 prong. You really only need the light to come on in the morning and go off at night, anyway. The A/C timers were $8 each. Got them at HD or Lowes and they plug in to my power strips.
