YOu are telling me that a rescure who is going to a pet store and agreeing with CONDITIONS to remove a severly sick or injured iguana is not helping??????

Honestly what do you think these petstores do with teh older iguanas they can not sell? Do you think they keep them around? Do you think they are really out enough money that if the older iguanas dont sell they wont dump them in the trash and go out and spend the extra 5 bucks at most for a new supply?? He didnt support this store he helped the iguana. IF hed have paid for the iguana I could see you getting mad but he didnt. He took the iguana out a bad situation, 9 times out of 10 had he not this iguana would have died theyd have dumped it in the trash out back and the next week gotten a new supply. HOPEFULLY with them having to GIVE them away they will think twice but I doubt it. Many people help the way they can and thats the best they can do. Personally I walked out of a petstore with DD. BUT I helped that store, they took her from an idtiot that tortured her, they rehibiltated her to a point and sold her to me for a lower price than waht they had spent on medical care for her. I felt no problems in paying for her as the medical care seh had had before I got her was at least triple what I had paid, they do rehibilate and sell there iguanas but you know what they questioned me many times over on her care on the houseing I had ready for her and I even brought her back for visits. My point being ifyou want to educate thats WONDERFUL but to out and out attack someone for doing what might not be the best is going to get you nothing but someone ignoring what you say.

But please, remember, although the iguana speices as a whole is the most important thing. Please continue to come to the forum and ask questions as now that you HAVE the iguana, your part is making sure it is cared for and maybe even helping out on the pet store front.
