Stain needs to be sealed with polyurathain (I'm probably not spelling that right)in multiple coats-we used 3 on walls, 5 on the floor.

Paint does not need to be sealed. Rustolium is NOT good to use as it can be toxic. You need to use a paint that is non-toxic to humans if accidentally ingested. We used paint that was manufactured for a children's room.

I have to say I like the paint better -it's easier to clean the walls and seems to hold up to the UV and humdity better.
